When the RAF was formed in 1918 he became a lieutenant (technical). He was
still on th RAF list in March 1919 but with no specific post and must have
left before April 1920.
Later Managed the The Post Office Telephones office in Peterborough and was
then posted to Portsmouth to manage the office there during the 2nd world war.
 After the war he was transferred to manage the office in Brighton, when  he
retired he lived in Hove and Frances Mary (his wife) lived for the rest of her
life .
