Adelaide along with her Brother Richard Thomas and her sister Emily, was born into the famous Frantz Family and toured the world as "Dress Suited Acrobats". Later she and her husband George A Philcox (both described as Acrobats), had a double act in the Music Hall, called "Donald & Doone". Donald & Doone performed at: 1906 Nouveau Cirque, Ghent, Belgium 13th December 1906. 1906 Charleroi, 14th December for 3 days, then Ghent untill the 27th December 1906 1907 Madrid 1909 Kowno, Russia, as the Delson Trio 1910 Victoria Theatre, Breslau, Germany, untill 31st October. year unknown; 11th January "went big at our opening in Empire, Camberwell (Frank Postlewaite made it for me). next week we open at Paragon, more money, Everybody delighted and so am I and Frank. Have fixed standard after that. so you see we are not so bad"
